Farnsworth Group is seeking a Contract Manager in our St. Louis, MO office, or one of our IL locations in Chicago or Peoria.
Job Activities:
  • Create and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders and serve as the singular point of contact for matters concerning contracts.
  • Craft, evaluate, negotiate, and execute a wide variety of contracts covering a range of transactions.
  • Facilitate corporate contract review process, with a focus on legal and risk issues
  • Monitor contracts and move forward with close-out, extension, or renewal according to company needs.
  • Lead the selection, implementation, and maintenance of a company-wide contract management system.
  • Lead employee engagement on contract management and compliance, including oversight of employee training.
  • Responsible for complying with contracting and purchasing policies, procedures, and requirements.
  • Draft and review company contracts and amendments including those for leases, software licenses, vehicles, service-level and non-disclosure agreements.
  • Oversight of corporate professional liability insurance program.
Specific Requirements include:
* Bachelor's degree in Business/ Contracts required
* 10 years of relevant experience
* Advanced comprehension of legal concepts with respect to contracts
* Intermediate knowledge of corporate governance in the U.S.
* Expert knowledge of and experience with contract management software
* Excellent communication, organizational and administrative abilities
* Positive, energetic attitude towards stakeholders
